What is Amazon Prime day?

It’s a great 1 day event for all Amazon Prime members during which they can secure amazing deals as over 100,000 products will be reduced. Amazon Prime Day has been held for last 2 years and it is expected that the actual sale on that day may be as big as on a Black Friday.

When is Amazon Prime Day?

The first Prime day was on 15/07/2015 and last day Prime day was on 12/07/2017 and this year’s event will happen on 11th of July, however the deals start showing up already on 10th of July since 6pm 🙂 The deals will be changing as often as every few minutes and the best time to buy will be from 6 am until 10 pm even though the event will last 24 hours.

How to get the most of Amazon Prime Day?

  1. Ensure you get the membership before or on the day – it cost £79 but you can try it for FREE for a month – so technically you do not have to commit to the whole year membership but you can sign up at the beginning of July and still enjoy Amazon Prime Day and the next day delivery 🙂 just do not forget to quit before the trial runs out → set yourself a reminder in your phone 🙂
  2. Track items you wish to buy using a site called CamelCamelCamel – this page will also allow you to see if a bargain original RRP was actually true before it got discounted…
  3. Have your wish list ready for quick checks
  4. Enjoy!
