Airtime rewards guide – make the most of it

What is Airtime Rewards?

Airtime Rewards is a loyalty program that allows you to link your bank cards to get rewarded with cashback toward your mobile phone bill when making purchases in participating stores.

Airtime Rewards are using real-time purchase data and AI learning to help members using the app save while shopping to offset the cost of their phone bill.

They automatically give rewards to shoppers who use their debit and credit cards.

How do Airtime Rewards work?

The rewards platform is powered by AI and uses machine learning technology. It works with major high-street stores and uses card-tracking technologies to incentivize and rewards both online and offline purchase.

Just link your bank account to it and it will automatically track your spending and offer you between 1% – 10% cashback for shopping at retailers available in the app. You can also use it alongside other cashback sites such as Topcashback and Quidco.

After shopping Airtime Rewards apply monetary incentives to a customer’s mobile phone account or bill through their ability to connect with the networks they partner with.

Airtime Rewards partners include popular brands such as Waitrose, Boots, Nike, Argos, Arcadia, Primark and Wilko. Thanks to direct integration with all major mobile networks in the UK Airtime Rewards members are able to redeem their earned rewards against their mobile phone bill easily in the app. This resonates with many generations but particularly with millennials.

Is Airtime Rewards any good?

It is fantastic as it, it automatically tracks your spending and rewards you for it. One more reward program that is seamless. It is a minimum-effort cashback app.

How much can you earn?

Depending on which store you buy from, the cashback value may be anywhere from 1%-10%. On average you are able to save at least 5% (last checked October 2022). It changes and fluctuates as on the other cashback sites. It may also depend on the spending threshold. The more you spend the more you save. The best part is that you can use it in conjunction with Topcashback or Quidco so ultimately you may save more when you combine the cashbacks. However, this is at the retailer’s discretion, so as always with cashback, it’s not 100% certain.

Don’t base your purchasing decision on whether or not you get cash back. Instead, think of it as a bonus.

Airtime Rewards states that ‘on average, our members earn £1 per qualifying transaction and transact between 3-4 times each month’.
